he bigger the wedding - the more preparation, worries and headaches........ So why not let us co-ordinate your entire wedding. All the arrangements from start to finish. All the bridal couple and their families have to do is enjoy the special day without any of the worries and cares that go with the planning and co-ordinating of a well organized fairy tale wedding. Should you wish to view the LAPA on a day of a wedding this can be arranged by prior arrangement. The LAPA is booked until 12pm for all weddings unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

e have a chapel which is decorated with podium, bridal table for the couple to sign the register and fully upholstered chairs set out for the guests whilst they await the bride's arrival. It is optional whether we have the chapel draped, with fairy lights shining through. (See extra cost below) The bride can arrive on a magnificently draped River Cruiser and the pathway from the river to the chapel is scattered with rose petals and as the bride enters she walks on white voille - also scattered with rose petals - for the ceremony.


t is an optional extra (see below cost) should you require snacks (prices need to be discussed) and perhaps a glass of Sherry, Cocktails or juice, served to the guests whilst photographs are being taken in the garden and the guests can relax on the banks of the scenic Vaal River and listen to background music.

e at River Palace will make sure the day is perfect from start to finish. The large Reception Lapa can be fully draped (optional extra) in white voille with fairy lights shining through the drapes. The round tables (seating 10 comfortably) are magnificently set with table cloths and overlays of the bride's colour choice and a further overlay in either silver, gold or organza crunched under the flowers. White chair back covers are also included as well as with the bride's table, which is decorated in white organza. The buffet tables are also skirted and decorated for the occasion.


he starter is either placed on the tables before the guests enter the LAPA or can be served by the waitrons to the guests, seated at their tables. Later, normally after the speeches, the guests are served in an orderly fashion from the buffet.

hould your bar be a pre-paid bar then there is no charge for the bar or staff but should you choose a "cash" bar there is a charge for set-up and barmen & waiters of R500.00. This amount is refunded should your cash bar spend in excess of R30.00 per person. Please notify your guests that no liquor or beverages of any description may be brought onto the premises.




e have a magnificent honeymoon suite (with jacuzzi and sauna) for the bridal couple (Friday night for the bride and her mother or bridesmaid) and then the Saturday the bride can arrange for her hair and make-up to be done in the suite before the ceremony.

 

e can assist with arranging accommodation for your guests at reasonable prices nearby.

e are able to provide you with this dream wedding at R225.00 per person and children between the ages of 10 at 60%. Babies (not occupying chairs) no charge. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

erms & Conditions

  • To confirm your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of R5000.00
  • The deposit paid covers only the day that was originally booked and is not transferable to another date.
  • The amount of guests must be given in writing 14 days before the wedding and this must include your DJ, Minister, Photographer, etc.
  • The balance of the wedding must be paid in full 14 days before the wedding. (No exceptions)
  • Candles should be non drip or placed in appropriate holders to prevent damage to the table cloths and overlays as to avoid us to charge you for the damage.
